How this website handles your data: as little as possible, and nothing you would not expect.

Last updated 2026-10-11

Who is responsible

This website, merply.com, is operated by Merply. For any question about your data, write to hello@merply.com — the same address answers requests to access, correct or delete personal data.

What we collect, and why

Contact form: when you send a message we receive the name, e-mail address, optional company and message you typed. They are delivered to our mailbox by e-mail and kept there for as long as we need to answer and follow up on your request. We use them for nothing else.

Server and edge logs: like every website, ours records technical data about each request (IP address, browser type, requested page, time) for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept for a short period and are not combined with other data.

Bot check on the contact form: before a message is sent, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the sender is a person. Cloudflare processes the request data needed for that check (such as the IP address and browser characteristics) on our behalf; we never see the result beyond pass or fail.

Nothing else. We do not run analytics or advertising scripts, we do not profile visitors, and this site sets no cookies of its own.

Who else sees data

Cloudflare, Inc. sits in front of the site as a content delivery network and security layer: every request passes through its network, where it may process the IP address to block attacks and bots.

The site itself runs on a server rented from Hetzner Online GmbH, located in the European Union.

Messages from the contact form are delivered through our e-mail provider to our mailbox.

We do not sell or share personal data with anyone else.

Your rights

You may ask at any time what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its processing or ask for a copy. Write to hello@merply.com and we will answer without undue delay.

If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you may also complain to the data-protection authority responsible for you.
