merply »design
We build software that moves businesses forward.
Merply designs, engineers and operates digital products: AI-powered platforms, web applications and the infrastructure behind them. Shipped in small, tested steps.
- 01DiscoverGoals, users and constraints; a scoped plan and a clear first release.
- 02DesignArchitecture and API contracts written down as decisions before code.
- 03BuildTests first, small increments, one pipeline to a test environment you can use.
- 04RunMonitoring, backups and runbooks in production. We stay on.
The name
- Merge
- The engineering half: models, data and your existing systems combined into one codebase that your team can read.
- Apply
- The business half: every feature is tied to a workflow, a cost or a revenue line. If it can't be applied, we don't build it.
How we engineer
The standards every Merply project ships with.
Merply is run by engineers. We design, build and operate products end to end, with the discipline — tests, pipelines, runbooks — usually reserved for much bigger teams.

Six capabilities, one accountable team.
All services- 01
Product engineering
End-to-end delivery of web and mobile products: architecture, APIs, interfaces, tests and the pipeline that ships them.
- 02
AI & automation
Practical AI inside real workflows: document intelligence, LLM agents with guardrails, OCR and extraction, and automation of repetitive back-office work.
- 03
Web platforms & content
Fast, accessible, search-ready websites and portals, with an editing experience your team will actually use.
- 04
Cloud, DevOps & security
Infrastructure as code, containerised deployments, zero-downtime pipelines and hardened edges, on your cloud or ours.
- 05
Data & integrations
Connecting systems that were never meant to talk: ERPs, e-mail, spreadsheets, third-party APIs and the databases underneath.
- 06
Design & UX
Interfaces designed from real workflows: design systems, prototypes and the details that make software feel effortless.
Products we have built and run.
All work- Kotlin · Spring Boot · Angular
Sphinx AI
An enterprise document-intelligence platform for a freight forwarder: e-mail ingestion, OCR, extraction, filing and AI agents on a Kotlin / Spring Boot core.Case study - TypeScript · Three.js · Blender
Apartment3D
Turns a 2D floor plan into a structured scene graph, generates watertight 3D geometry, furnishes it with an LLM and a constraint solver, and lets people customise it in natural language.Case study - Kotlin · Spring Boot · PostgreSQL
ATNP
A self-hosted, closed-loop coaching system: log what you did and how it felt, and the engine recalculates your next loads, weekly volume and calorie targets — explaining every adjustment.Case study
Principles
Opinions we are happy to be judged by.
Tests before code
Every change starts with a failing test and ends with a green pipeline — unit, API and browser tests included. Coverage thresholds are enforced, never lowered.
Everything as code
Infrastructure, pipelines, edge configuration and architecture decisions live in version control next to the product, reviewed like any other change.
Secure by default
Least privilege, hardened edges behind Cloudflare, secrets outside images, dependency hygiene and a review that treats security findings as blocking.
Own it in production
We deploy what we build and carry it afterwards: health checks, logs, backups and a rollback path are part of the definition of done.
